About Us
Acronym Community Empowerment (ACE) is a registered charity founded in 2015. We work to support disadvantaged women, their families and young adults delivering a range of education, training and cultural programmes. We promote inclusion through developing partnerships and capacity building community groups to help them grow. This means believing in the power of unity between people and recognising that in unity there is strength and everyone has a skill to share and to contribute.
The Team
The ACE delivery team combines professional skills from a range of backgrounds and experiences from education, business, health & social care. We have knowledge and expertise working in the voluntary and public sector and business including business & tech startups.
We set up ACE a Black led not-for-profit organisation to improve services for socially excluded and disadvantaged people, groups and individuals from BME and others members of our community who suffer from marginalisation to secure greater employment opportunities and skills for life.
The ACE team reflects these lived experiences and each Trustee brings a range of skills from education, business, health & social care. Our multi-skilled delivery, of empowering women into career with advice, training and coaching adult education, health and wellbeing, social research, intercultural dialogue, business start-up and the private sector promoting equality and diversity underpinned by sound project and financial management.
